Last post I mentioned something about the Lucha Lounge experience being like playing in your mate’s living room, seems I spoke too soon or something like that as Friday evening I found myself watching 3 bands playing in the front room of a funky old Auckland townhouse right in the middle of the CBD.

BLOG: LUCHA NOISE

I caught Pairs’ first Auckland show on Saturday at the Lucha Lounge. Real cool little venue, think something akin to 696 or maybe Logo without the second floor but with a smaller stage, seriously, a very small stage which is quite cool as the bands tend to play from the floor which adds to the intimacy.

BLOG: Day two, still no sheep

So I left India late Wednesday night and arrived in Auckland Friday morning, not sure where Thursday went but I am pretty sure most of it was wasted at Mumbai international airport which now has a pretty unassailable lead in my list of worst airports ever.
