This Friday, everyone's favorite noisy duo Pairs will be launching Grandparent, their new album, recorded in a tiny shack out far in the guts of Yangpu with L.A producer Manny Nieto (The Breeders, HEALTH, Mars Volta).
Each track of the album is accompanied by a video made by Red Scale, who will be releasing a new track every day from the 19th of October on their youtube channel (for those of you with vpn) and on redscalestudios.org.
A very limited 80 copies of the ‘Grandparent’ USB will be available for cheap purchase at the event and will feature the 8 tracks, all video clips, making of video, demos, letters, baby photos and probably a virus. Sound will be provided by the Acid Pony Rats but not Pairs because 'sometimes you just don't want loud noise.'
