The 2012 Zebra Music Festival will be held at Jinshan Beach, with music every day from July 20-22, doors opening at 5pm. Last year, the first CYZMF attracted huge numbers of attendees and was highly welcomed by Shanghai music lovers. Channel Young Zebra Music Fest 2012 still features the best lineup with nearly twenty domestic and international artists and bands as well as the exciting fun non-music events, such as Beach Wedding, Water-splashing festival, Ocean protection public service activity, Extreme sports and Beach party. Besides, some routine non-music activities are also included like Xiami music interaction, Music lessons, Zebra market and so on.The lineup includes British rockers Exile Parade, Japanese punks Mongol 800 and metal band New Breed, Beijing rock band Nova Heart, and Taiwanese singer Stanley Huang.
To get there, take Metro Line 1 to Jinjiang Park, then take a bus to Jinshan (about one hour) from the bus station next door. From there, walk about twenty minutes to the beach (there are plenty of signs pointing the way) or try to find a taxi.

Recently, the festival organizer has announced the domestic lineup with the headliner SHOW LO from Taiwan who is named as Asian Dancing King and one of the most popular original musicians Qu Wanting who was signed by top Canadian record label Nettwerk, becoming the first ever-Chinese singer-songwriter signed in 26 years as well as the dynamic band Mushroom and the Zebra Star Monkey Legion are included. CYZMF contains multi music genres with pop, rock, electron and punk which ensure that more music lovers have the chance to get involved and enjoy the live music at the brilliant beach music fest!
We do believe CYZMF 2012 will be the grooviest event in this summer which will truly impact the whole city.
