X is Y is a minimalist noise Rock duo playing with dissonance, soft vocals, dynamic, time signatures and silence. After touring for more than 2 years in China, they are releasing their new EP "Never Sever" on one of Shanghai's coolest label, Miniless.
The world class songwriters "Rainbow Danger Club", the Shanghai indie Rockers "Naohai" and the U.S. Touring band "The Noise Revival Orchestra" will bring their support.

The Noise Revival Orchestra:
The Noise Revival Orchestra is an acoustic pop orchestra based in Austin, Texas, USA. TNRO has successfully toured 4 countries in Europe to promote their new album Songs of Forgiveness. They bring their live show to China for the first time in May and June of 2012.
Rainbow Danger Club:
In the last 2 years, Rainbow Danger Club has become one of the most acclaimed acts in China. They will be playing a lot of new material as well as some old classics as they gear up for a tour of the USA this summer.
Naohai:
Naohai is the new Shanghai rock sensation. They've been called "Shanghai's answer to the the Beijing band, the Gar" by Timeout Magazine. They're playing a straight forward pop rock with hints of Sonic Youth, Carsick Cars and bits of instrumental Post Rock. They are one of the new Shanghai bands to watch for 2012. Come check them out if you haven't seen them already.
Miniless (label):
Miniless Recordings is a Hefei/Shanghai-based label dedicated to discovering talented musicians and encouraging Chinese young people to create evolving form of music. "We don’t have any kind of restrictions, however what we most concerned is the true emerging status of the musician rather than a false gesture of indie/rock or any other kind of obsolete stuffs."
