iAmalam is a live-performance electronic group created by Ryan Baird (guitar, laptop, percussion, toys) and Nick Muzyczka (keyboard, synth, melodica, laptop, toys). In live shows iAmalam uses Ableton to create live mixes of their tunes, with extra parts (solos, weird noises, shouting) added in real time by real instruments. iAmalam is indebted to odd-time groove music, the masters of the minimalist movement and many wonderful contemporary electronic artists.
