This Sunday afternoon at DADA, we present a very special tailor-made party for both cool cats and nerdy kids who grew up listening Chinese pop songs, watching Japanese animation and playing World of Warcraft.
The popular and adored local Hip-Hop/Electronic beat maker and DJ Ceezy prepared music for one month with crowd-sourced online mp3 submissions. This will be a one of a kind party without all the music you were familiar with. DADA will serve a special shot called “Lonely Chikans" inspired by all the kinky Japanese manga. (Chikan, a Japanese word for public molestation or the person who commits such an act. Frequently used to refer to groping, often on crowded Japanese trains.)
If you are interested in getting to know why Asia manga fans can be so nerdy and crazy in the same time, or simply expect to see some awkwardly funny dance moves, come to DADA on June 3rd, party goes from 2pm-5pm, free entry.
