Island6 or "Liu Dao" is one of the world's most exciting workshops of hi-tech contemporary art, not only because they play with the new media toys of our time, but also because it is a collective built on a Utopian ideal of generosity and sharing. Artists, artisans, tech-heads and art aficionados from around the globe drop into rap technology and art. In this oh so "Ooh Lala!" isle of idealism and cultural diversity is the spirit of Shanghai and the spirit of island6.
